I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and when I was a baby my family moved to Paris, Texas. There, we lived on a small farm until I was seven. That's when my family moved to Oklahoma City. I studied psychology at Central State University. (Edmond Oklahoma) Later I earned an associate degree in electronic design/ and computer technology. I lived in Seattle, Washington for seven-teen years, while there I studied improv and acting, wrote two plays and one was produced. . I was also an original member of The African American Writers Alliance. (A Seattle based writing group) I've authored two novels: Dirtied Brown Leaves & The Education of Black Dickey. I've written book reviews for "The G.R.I.T.S" (an online book review and discussion group) I'm a lifelong activist and I’ve facilitated conversations/discussions on race relations in America.
